Our History
The Meat Shoppe, Inc. is an on- and off-premise catering business founded by Rick and Judy Keller in 1984.
In February, 2024, Rick and Judy retired after 30 years at the Gering Civic Center as Facility Managers and On-Site Caterers, and 40 years in business.
The Meat Shoppe's famous Prairie Gold Seasoning was used to season many of Our meats such as steaks and roast beef. We also used it on vegetables and Chicken. Prairie Gold Seasoning is available for purchase in 8 and 16 ounce containers. Click on the link above.
